Robots

A mobile robot built from a kit by the computer magazine C't has been fitted with a special module to add bluetooth connectivity. The module has been desigend as part of a student thesis at our institute. The same bluetooth module is also used in the robots of the Roboterclub Aachen, in collaboration with which the project was conducted.

Another control project for mobile robots only needs a browser applet to control a mobile robot. The mobile robot runs a J2ME server application that allows observation and control of the robot while monitoring the connection latency and bandwidth.
