| MP-Cluma is a combination of three parts.
On each computing node one "server-process" is responsible to execute the executable on the node. On windows nodes this "server-process" is implemented as a system service.
These processes also retrieve information about the hardware and software of the computing nodes and provides this information to the "manager-system".
The "manager-system" consists of one CORBA name service and one event service and at least one manager program written in Java.
The graphical user interface is also written in Java, it provides the user with information about the nodes and enables execution of programms. The communication between the three parts is done with CORBA. |
